D-Link D100 Voice Calling Tablet Announced for Indian Market

The Taiwanese tech company D-Link seems all set to unlock its first Android tablet in India. The D-Link D100 is the device which has went on sale via e-commerce stores at Rs. 12,534. With single SIM slot, this is meant for voice calling.

The D-Link D100 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS which is very initiative step by the maker as per Indian market. The device features a 7.85-inch IPS LCD display which is capable in providing screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor which performs impeccably fast along with Mali-400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

On the imaging front, the manufacturer has carved a 5-megapixel shooter on rear side which is disappointingly not embedded with flash. A 2-megapixel front shooter is also on-board for selfie lovers. It is coupled with 16GB built-in storage which can further be expandable upto 32GB using microSD card.

This tablet is fueled by an ergastic 4000mAh battery which acts like a powerhouse to deliver long hours of talk time. On connectivity side, the company has loaded this device with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and OTG options. Several e-commerce stores are selling the same device at different price tag. eBay is selling the D-Link D100 voice-calling tablet at Rs. 12,534 and Snapdeal at Rs. 13,304 while the famous Indian e-commerce store Flipkart has tagged this device at Rs. 13,545.

Earlier a computer display maker brought AOC D70V50G tablet for Indian market at Rs. 7,750.
