Dell Venue 11 Pro 7000 (7140) Launched With a Zippier Processor

Despite being an excellent enterprise in space of Laptops and PCs, now Dell has rolled up its sleeves to rule in segment of tablets. The tech giant has proclaimed a versatility tablet, which has been designated as Venue 11 Pro 7000 (7140). To stand neck-to neck with some near-perfect machines: iPad Air 2, the company has debuted its faster and lighter model in Venue 11 Pro 7000 series that promises a better balance between performance and portability.

More interestingly, the device is powered by 2GHz dual-core Intel Core M 5Y10a processor, where Core M CPU is part of Intel's next-gen Broadwell line. Notably, there are several advantages of this new microprocessor, which is separate from familiar Core i3/i5/i7. Apparently, Dell is not the first one who has adopted this chip, because we have seen it in some devices like recently publicized: Acer Aspire Switch 12.

In particular, high-speed Core M can run for a long time as well as these are efficiently enough to cool down the system without internal fans. It also reduces the heft and noise associated with tablets. The device bears a 10.8-inch TFT display that renders a pixel resolution of 1080x1920p. In terms of connectivity, tab will be available in two variants: Wi-Fi only and LTE. Along with a 1.55 pounds of weighing, the tablet is expected to hit the shelves of US based retail stores by November 11 with a price tag of $699.99. At this place, it may have to face a better competition with Surface Pro 3 to gain more shares in the world of smart devices.
