Lenovo Puts Forward Four New Y-series Gaming Devices

Though Consumer Electronics Show (CES) starts today, Chinese manufacturer Lenovo started unveiling its products in the starting of this week itself. The latest reports indicate that Lenovo is again planning to add four new gaming laptops to its current lineup. These are Y-series laptops dubbed the Ideapad Y900, IdeaCentre Y900 RE and two others having curved gaming monitors.

The reports stand confirmed as both Lenovo and Razor have stricken a deal to offer gaming enthusiasts with cutting-edge gaming hardware. The Chinese company has announced the IdeaCentre Y900 RE with monstrous specifications that can run high-end games.

Quite recently, Lenovo came up with Yoga 900S, a device that was dubbed as the World's Thinnest Convertible Laptop weighed just 999g. However, the new 17-inch Ideapad Y900 boasts a quad-core Intel Core i7 K-series processor, a multi-colored and backlit keyboard. Additionally, it comes with Nvidia GTX G80M graphics card with 4GB of memory and offers up to 64GB of RAM. It also features a turbo button to offer users an instant boost in performance in more CPU power, more memory and enhanced graphics.

To serve this growing appetite, we’re launching four new additions to our Y series gaming family designed with high performance and portability for enthusiast gamers. On-the-go gamers will want to take a look under the hood of the new IdeaPad Y900, running Windows® 10 and built for total immersive play whether hunkered down at home or at a friend’s man cave.

With a quad core 6th Gen Intel Core i7 K-series processor for ultimate gaming performance, NVIDIA® GTX 980M graphics and a mechanical backlit multi-color keyboard, this 17-inch laptop is ready for the toughest virtual battles.

Apart from this, Lenovo is also trying to accessorize the manufacturer for a ultra-premium IdeaCentre Y900 Razer Edition desktop as it offers the advantage of upgrading the components easily unlike the laptop. It features a quad-core Intel Core i7 K-series processor with two NVIDIA GTX 970 graphic cards, and being in partnership with Razer, so it comes with a Razer Chroma keyboard and mouse with multi-color lighting effects.

Along with the aforementioned pair of laptops, the company has plans to launch two separate versions of the Y29g Curved Gaming Monitor, one with Razer Edition branding and the other without it. They both feature a 27-inch display and are powered by curved FHD VA panels, boasting of a refresh rate of 144Hz and an 8ms response time. In case the user needs to closely inspect the device, a lever is installed on the case that opens up a semi-transparent side panel for the convenience.
