Videocon to Unveil Windows 10 Powered LED TV at Rs.39,990

Videocon has made collaboration with Microsoft to launch a Windows 10 powered LED TV in India. The TV has been designed on the basis of size in two variants including 81cm and 98cm. Windows 10 powered TVs will be available to roll out across the country by November.

The newly built TV will be available at the leading outlets and via Videocon dealers with a starting price of Rs.39,990. This Windows 10 powered LED TV will allow you to use as like a TV as well as PC.

Akshay Dhoot, Head of Technology and Innovation, Videocon, announced on the launch that, “We are extremely thrilled to announce the launch of world’s first Windows 10 powered TV. In these changing times, we realized the needs of our consumers of having easy access to technology at their convenience and therefore we designed world’s first hybrid TV cum PC. With this TV, students can now easily create & share school assignments, home makers can curate and share recipes with the world, and professionals can work outside of their offices. This is one product that every member of the family can use regardless of their age.”

At the specification side, the Windows powered TV allows you to create and edit documents or presentations with Microsoft Office. It is also enabled with the Screen Casting which lets you to wireless transfer photos, music and videos to the TV using the ‘All Cast’ app.  The TV is also equipped with Windows Store, offering the built-in apps to access the apps, games, music, movies etc.

The device arrives with a full HD display and has an inbuilt Wi-Fi function as well.  The TV provides an access to social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest as well. The device can also be tuned into the TV mode to access various television channels. It has the MHL interface which allows the users to connect their smartphones, tablets and other devices.

It is featured with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and have the internal storage of 16GB, which can be extended up to 128GB via microSD card slot expansion.
