AAP forgot Common Man, released First Lok Sabha Candidate List

Aam Aadami Party (AAP) announced its first list of 20 candidates who will contest in Lok Sabha election. According to the list, Ashutosh (Former TV Journalist) would be contesting against the Congress leader Kapil Sibal from Delhi's Chandani Chowk. However, Kumar Viswas will be in the field from Amethi against Rahul Gandhi, the Vice President of Congress. "Narmada Bachao Aandolan" leader Medha Patkar will be contesting the Lok Sabha from Mumbai. AAP has released the list of candidates for Lok Sabha election, most of them are activist. Mayank Gandhi, Anjali Damania, Yogesh Dahiya, HS Phoolka, Subhash Ware and Alok Agrawal are RTI activist.

Aam Aadmi Party has not announced any candidate from Rae Bareli. Former actuary Mukul Tripathi will contest from Farukhabad seat against another Union Minister Salman Khurshid. Activist Hardev Singh has been given a ticket from Mainpuri while Advocate HS Phoolka has been given ticket from Ludhiana. AAP has fielded Anjali Dhamania (anti-curruption activist) from Nagpur against BJP President Nitin Gadkari. Jiya Lal, a scientist has given a ticket from Lalganj. Yogesh Dahiya will be the AAP candidate from Saharanpur.

Meera Sanyal another social activist will contest against Milind Deora from South Mumbai. AAP leader Manish Sisodiya said in a Press Conference, "Today we have announced the names of 20 candidates. The selection of all these candidates has been done on the basis of their work for the society. While choosing the candidates, we have tried to prevent corrupt and people with criminal charges from entering politics."
