Story Behind Late Sunanda Pushkar and Mehr Tarar Twitter War

Sunanda Pushkar married Congress's Union Minister Shashi Tharoor in the year 2010. This was the 3rd marriage of both. Sunanda Pushkarwas found dead in a hotel room at Chanakyapuri, Delhi on 17th January 2014 which has sparked the heat in the investigation of such a sudden demise. The main reason behind the episode happened last night is assumed to the twitter war which both of them had played along with a Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar. Sunanda Pushkar had blamed Mehr Tarar that she is trying to push herself behind Shashi Tharoor as she mentioned "Stalking" in her tweets. But there are many points which could make one confuse as the clear picture is still a matter of investigation.

Sunanda Pushkar was born and brought up in Kashmir. Her father was a lieutenant general in the Indian Army. She had two brothers. She graduated from Govt. College for women, Srinagar. Sunanda along with her family started living in Jammu after the terrorism increased in Kashmir in 1990. Earlier her name was Sunanda Das, but later she changed her name by adding her father’s name as her surname which made her call Sunanda Pushkar. Her first husband was Sanjay Raina who was also a Kashmiri, residing in Delhi. Due to some circumstances they got parted and Sunanda moved to Dubai. There she married a businessman Sujit Menon who was an Indian originated in Kerala. He faced a huge loss in some investment program after which he returned back to India alone. Later in 1997, Sujit died in a road accident. They both had a son who is now 21 years old.

Sunanda had a great interest in business and entrepreneurship. She became sales manager of a real estate company located in Dubai. She met Shashi Tharoor in Dubai at a party. Gradually they started liking each other and got married in 2010. Union Minister of India, Shashi Tharoor made her avail a good number of shares in Indian Premier League’s Kocchi Tusker Team after which they both had faced a lot of controversies and problems. Sunanda put her feet back off the team and returned her shares.

The Controversial fight started with a newspaper article in which A Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar had admired the voice of Shashi Tharoor. The article also contained the praises for Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Imran Khan. She wrote about the special person in her life. This "special person" is assumed be diresting towards Shashi Tharoor but she denied about that. This article made such a strong impact on Sunanda Pushkar that she decided to get parted with her husband.

Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar had booked two suits in a super luxury hotel "The Leela" at Chanakyapuri, Delhi. Sunanda was found dead in her suit on 17th January 2014. Police has seized her iPhone and iPad for forensic investigation along with other formalities.

The @Twitter war executed by Sunanda and Mehr started after the twits posted by Shashi Tharoor’s account for which Tharoor apologized and informed everyone that his account was hacked and somebody else had twitted earlier. The @twits posted were as follows:

Sunanda Pushkar said, "leave us Indians alone and stop talking to my husband and pleading with him its digrading respect youself as a women. (sic)"

on this, Mehr Tarar twitted, "indians who have dignity unfollow her or are there no ppl in pakistan who R desperate 4 husbands of other women SHAME. (sic)"

Mehr Tarar posted again this morning that, "I have nothing to say to a woman clearly out of her mind. To be called an ISI agent, a stalker..I have nothing to add. Just shows who she is."

on 17th Jan's evening, Shashi Tharoor twitted, "Sorry folks, my @Twitter account has been hacked & will be temporarily deactivated. Bear with me while we solve this."

Mehr Tarar twitted, "Okay. What's going on? Who's tweeting to me? I had an 'affair' with Shashi Tharoor and he's tweeting to me??? How does that work?"

Later, Tarar Added, "I know Shashi T& respect him greatly. Hv tweeted/written abt it openly.Feel awful abt wht's being tweeted. Maybe @TwitterIndia shld check?"

During this, Sunanda Pushkar twitted again that, "I am sending @mehrtars bbm msgs to the works to see what a horrible woman she is and how she is stalking my husband."
