Android 4.4.4 Rolls Out to Resolve Security Flaw

Google recently launched the new OS with the named Kitkat (Android 4.4) in the market. Even though Android 4.4.3 has been in the market since last couple of weeks, Google again added a security update in Kitkat with Android 4.4.4 upgradation. Recently a flaw named "Heartbleed" was discovered from 4.4.3 version of this OS, which leads to the security vulnerabilities in the smartphone. So to resolve this threat, the security update was released by the company.

In starting, this 4.4.4 update will be available for all Nexus products that will include Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10. On the basis of Google Plus post from Android Engineering Program Manager Sascha Pruter, the Android 4.4.4 version is nothing but earlier version with few security patches added into it. The development of this update comes after CVE-2014-0224 flaw, which was unearthed in OpenSSL. Google uncovered The version 4.4.3 few months back with all new dialer and user-friendly interface. Apart from resolving this major security issue, this update also offered with security patches, bug fixes and overall stability enhancement. The issue of faster battery draining while using the camera is also resolved through this update.
