Apple’s 6.1-inch LCD iPhone Launch Delayed Due To Production Issues

Apple iPhone 2018 models have been in the news from last few months in the form of renders and leaks. Recently, Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty claims that an affordable 6.1-inch LCD display launch date might be delayed due to the production issues.

This is not the first time that an analyst claims for delay in an affordable iPhone LCD variant, previously Ming-Chi Kuo an analyst for KGI Securities, said the same thing.

It seems that Apple Cupertino tech giant would launch a 6.1 inch LCD iPhone later as per the expectations due to the production issues and likely to be launched in the month of October after one month of OLED Apple iPhone models

According to the views of Morgan Stanley, "Suspected issues with LED backlight leakage have caused a 1-month delay in mass production of the 6.1″ LCD iPhone, although this is down from a 6-week delay baked into the original production forecast."

A report suggests that there are no delays in regular OLED 5.8-inch (iPhone X) and the 6.5-inch (iPhone X Plus) and they will be unveiled in the month of September. An affordable 6.1-inch LCD Phone is likely to be called with iPhone 9.

The disappointing part is that the cheapest Apple iPhone model will come with a single rear camera which will be available at $600.

According to a report by Katy Huberty stated that the cheapest LCD iPhone will be available in bright colors such as pink, blue, green, orange, while analyst Kuo said blue, red and orange
