According to the new report displayed by WhichApp of this year, the online social networking service and website, 'Facebook' and Android mobile messaging app, 'WhatsApp', have retained their position as the "most popular apps" in India. WhichApp is an amazing application that assists you in the best way to increase battery life of your phone and also tells about the new cool apps that your friends use! So, through this mobile app, it has been found that these two apps, which we have mentioned above are the most preferred applications among Indians.
Beside these, UC Browser and Truecaller also registered their names among the top five most popular mobile apps in the country. As per the claims of WhichApp, more than 20 thousand apps have been developed and downloaded through its platform, including Flipkart, Candy Crush, MX Player, Naukri.com and Applock. These are also popular apps that are used by Indians.
The popularity of the app is decided according to the number of WhicApp users having and actively using the apps on their mobiles. And, only those applications have been considered that have been used at least for one month.
Mr. Kapil Chawla, the Co-Founder and CEO of WhichApp stated, "Our future plans are to localise for vernacular languages for the non-English speaking influence and roll-out in other countries as the app is only available in India right now". He further commented, "The aim is to have 10 million users by December 2016". Till now, it has 10,000 users in the country.
