February 15 Marks Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus Availability on Amazon and Flipkart

Huawei's Honor Holly 2 plus will ready to go on sale from February 15 at midnight via e-commerce website Amazon and Flipkart at a price tag of Rs. 8,499. The company touted that the smartphone is specially designed for the Indian market and supports 2G/3G/4G LTE and CDMA as well.

In terms of specifications, the Honor Holly 2 Plus is featuring a 5-inch IPS LCD display having a resolution of 720*1280 pixels and is operated on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system out of the box. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.

On the storage end, the device houses a 16GB of internal storage, that can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot expansion. However, Huawei sold one million smartphones in 2015, that includes 8,00,000 Honor branded phones. Globally, Huawei shipped 108 million smartphones in 2015 and became the third largest player after Apple and Samsung.

At the photography section, the Holly 2 Plus is loaded with 13-megapixel camera at the rear end along with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The camera is featuring with Auto Flash, Continuos Shooting, Face detection, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) and Touch to focus.

For the connectivity, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth, A-GPS and USB connectivity. A 4000 mAh battery completes the package.

“We have seen a good response in India. This year we expect a large number of feature phone users to convert to smartphone and that is where our focus is. We are looking for 300% growth in smartphones sales in India and Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus are crucial for this,” Huawei India President of Consumer Business Group Allen Wang revealed.
