Huawei Launched Two New Y-Series Smartphones

Huawei, the Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment, and services company have launched two new smartphones under its popular Y-series . The newly added smartphones are Y3 II and Y5 II, both of which are listed on company's official site. However, the company has not revealed the availability and pricing details of the smartphones. Both of the smartphones will be available in Rose Pink, Sky Blue, Arctic White, Obsidian Black and Sand Gold colors. It is expected that the company will soon announce the availability of smartphones.

In terms of specifications, the Huawei Y3 II features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display having a resolution of 480*854 pixels. While the another variant of Y-series, Y5 II is featuring a slightly bigger display of 5-inch with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. According to the company's listing, both of the new handsets will come in two variants i.e 3G and 4G featuring different chipsets.

Both Huawei Y3 II and Y5II are operated on Android 5.1 based Lollipop operating system out of the box with the company's EMUI 3.1 skin running on top. For the power, the Huawei Y3 II 3G variant is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M SoC while the Huawei Y3 II 4G model packs with 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M SoC. On the other hand, the Huawei Y5 II 3G model comes with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC while the Huawei Y5 II 4G packs 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC.

For the storage, both of the handsets equipped an 8GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expandable via microSD card slot expansion and coupled with 1GB of RAM. On the photography department, the Huawei Y3 II bears a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It measures 134.1*66.7*9.9mm and weighs 150 grams and is backed by a 2100mAh battery.

On the other hand, Y5 II is accompanied with an 8-megapixel camera at the rear end with dual LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is measuring 134.1x66.7x9.9mm and weighs 150 grams and packed with a 2100mAh battery.

For the connectivity, both the handsets support Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Micro-USB, and 4G options.
