Huawei Unleashed One More Affordable Smartphone, Honor 3C Play

Huawei has introduced its one more budget smartphone, Honor 3C Play that is currently showcased on the firm's Mobile Shop website with a price tag of $176.90. Manifestly, the handset will join the Honor series of this China based multinational networking company. However, it is a downgraded and cheaper version of existing Honor 3C, which had been launched in the domestic mobile phone market in May.

Here, the affordable heir in this array is equipped with 5-inch HD IPS display with OTP single screen technology that delivers a pixel resolution of 720x1280p. The device will hit the shelves of marketplace with 142.2x72.3x9.4mm dimension along with 156 grams of weight. Unfortunately, the mobile phone is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean rather than 4.4 Kitkat that is identical to its predecessor. Articulately, the operating system of the mobile is packed under brand's Emotion UI.

The Smartphone is decked with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash alongside a 2-megapixel of selfie snapper. It incorporates a quad-core Cortex-A7 MediaTek processor, which is clocked at 1.3GHz operating frequency. It seems quite engrossing due to inclusion of 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0 options on the connectivity front.

Moreover, it is housed with 1GB of RAM along with inbuilt storage of 16GB, which you can extend up to 32GB via a microSD card. It also renders some advanced sensors such as proximity, Ambient light and Accelerometer. Though, the Honor 3C Play confers Mali 400 GPU alongside a non-removable 2000mAh battery, but it has not received any global availability details yet.

Even though, Huawei is in spate of buzzes because it is envisaged that the firm will inaugurate Honor 3C Play smartphone along with its much-rumored Ascend Mate 3 phablet at the IFA 2014 event, which will be held on the 4th of September. Notably, the mobile is expected to arrive as a strong rival against Motorola Moto E that is a best reasonably priced Android-powered handset, at present.
