Intex Aqua Air unveiled with 5-inch display at Rs. 4,690

Intex has launched a flagship Aqua series handset under the sub-Rs. 5000 category. With no availability listing of Aqua Air handset, the device has taken place on the company site at Rs. 4,690. It is expected to start selling it in India soon.

The dual-SIM sports 5-inch IPS display with (480x854 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK6572W processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM and Mali 400 MP GPU. Under the hoods, it has an in-built storage of 8GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). It has various specs that lures the customer to buy this handset. The budget market is also happy having this handset in the basket.

At the shooter’s front, it sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. Measuring 145.5x72.8x10mm, the device weighs 151 grams and packs 2300mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 8.5 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. It additionally features an accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. The connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS.

The Intex Aqua Air has been listed in Black, Champagne, Grey and White colors. Earlier this month, Aqua 3G NS and Aqua Wave were unveiled in the same budget market of sub Rs. 5000 to feature dual SIM support and Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with the other specifications list almost identical.
