Intex Aqua Q7 unveiled to run Android 5.1 Lollipop at Rs. 3,777

Intex has unveiled a budget segment smartphone as Intex Aqua Q7 to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, just after the announcement of Aqua Young.  The device has been listed to the company’s official website and can be expected to go on sale soon at a price tag of Rs. 3,777.

The smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a pixel density of 320ppi carrying the resolution of 480x854 pixels. It is powered up by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 SoC, coupled with 512MB of RAM. The Android 5.1 Lollipop supportive phone has under the hoods storage of 8GB that is expandable to 32GB via microSD card.

The device measures 135*66*9.5mm. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 250 hours of standby time and up to 5 hours of talk-time. On the connectivity front it includes 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. It includes only one 3G SIM slot inside it.

On the snapper’s edge, the device is sanctified with 2MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front facer. It also bears a number of options in addition as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. The pre-installed apps list has Matrabhasa, Follo, Quikr, Intex Play, Opera Mini, Clean Master and Newshunt on the board.

Last week, Intex has come up with Aqua Young at a price tag of Rs. 5,090. The device was a dual SIM smartphone with both the slots support GSM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop bearing a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display carrying 480*854 pixels resolution on board. It sports Corning Gorilla Glass for protection from scratches. Further, last month, the company had also unveiled Aqua Play priced at Rs. 3,249 to run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. All the launches were a major highlight to the company with the budget market to heel with the launches.
