Intex, the homegrown smartphone manufacturing company has added another device in its smartphone segment dubbed as Aqua Freedom. The smartphone has been listed on the company's India site with a price tag of Rs. 5,790 and will be available in Black and White color variant. However, the company hasn't officially announced the launch of Intex Aqua Freedom, is expected to go on sale in India soon.

At the specification side, the Intex Aqua Freedom flaunts a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels and is offering a pixel density of 198ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset is operated on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system out of the box.
At the photography section, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel camera at the rear end with autofocus and sports 2-megapixel front facing camera. On the storage end, the Aqua Freedom bears an 8Gb of inbuilt storage, that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.

For the connectivity, the smartphone includes 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensionally, the handset is measuring 144.4x72.5x8.65mm. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which promises to deliver up to 300 hours of standby time and 12 hours of talk time. It bears an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
