Domestic smartphone manufacturing firm Intex has added another smartphone to its lineup, the Aqua GenX. The handset is priced at Rs. 13,299 and will be available through offline retailers starting from Thursday.
In terms of specifications, the Intex Aqua GenX said to bear a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display having resolution of (1920x1080 pixels). For the protection, it is layered with Dragon Trail Glass coating. It is powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device have the internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot expansion.
At the photography section, the Intex Aqua GenX is loaded with 13 megapixel camera at the back panel and 5 megapixel shooter on the front panel on the board. The camera features a Gloves Mode to enhance the user’s experience of photography. The device offers Matrabhasha, a service that enables communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.
For the connectivity, the dual SIM capable smartphone includes 4G LTE, 3G and Wi-Fi. The company notify that, for the second SIM to be used, a user will have to take out the microSD card. The handset will be available in two color variants i.e Silver and Champagne.
