Intex Unveiled Aqua Sense 5.1 For INR 3,999

Intex, the Indian smartphone manufacturer has launched its next budget smartphone in the India market dubbed as Aqua Sense 5.1. The handset is listed on the company's official site with a price tag of Rs. 3,999. It is expected that the smartphone will be available in Champagne, Grey, and White color variants.

The Aqua Sense 5.1 is the successor of the last year launched Intex Aqua Sense 5.0.

In terms of specifications, the Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 flaunts a display of 5-inch display having a resolution of 480*854 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 294ppi. On the software end, the dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android 5.1 based Lollipop operating system out of the box. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor and coupled with 512MB of RAM.

For the storage, the device has an 8GB of inbuilt storage of 8GB, that can be further expandable via microSD card slot expansion. For the optics, the GSM-based Aqua Sense 5.1 is loaded with a 2-megapixel camera at the rear end while 0.3-megpixel camera on the front panel for the selfies.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. Dimensionally, it is measuring a 142x72.7x9.6mm and comes preloaded with apps such as Follo, Matrabhasha, I-Store, and OLX among others.
