Intex Technologies, the domestic smartphone manufacturing company have introduced another budget line smartphone. The smartphone is dubbed as Aqua Young, which is now listed on the company’s official site at Rs.5090. It is expected that the smartphone will be made available in the market soon.
The newly built smartphone by the Intex is featuring a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is said to run on an Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dual SIM based smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor coupled with 1GB of DDR2 RAM.
The handset bears 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. The Intex Aqua Young will be available in Champagne, Dark Grey and White color variants. It measures 145.3×72×9.5mm, weighs 158 grams.
On the camera front, the device bears a 5 megapixel fixed focus camera with LED flash at the rear end while there is a 0.3 megapixel camera with fixed focus on the board. The device is enabled with the ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer and Gyroscope.
The device is backed with 2500mAh battery, which, according to the official listing, is said to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time.
On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Young includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.
