Is Xiaomi Organizing a Launch Event on July 16? Mi5 or Redmi Note 2?

The Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi seems all set to bring its next flagship device in coming days. The new teaser image has caused a stir when a teaser image has been posted by the juggernaut. Company has went to its Weibo account and confirmed about a launch event on July 16^th. So, there is strong speculation that Xiaomi is going to organize an event on that day.

Well, the teaser image is also saying something about the launch. When you take a deep glimpse of this cryptic image, which shows the words PK, you can notice the side of a sleek handset is making the letter ‘K’. So, it could be possible that event will give us the chance to see the Mi5 this Thursday. However, a contradictory report is also taking rounds on web, suggesting about the Redmi Note 2 launch. So, we can’t say which one will try its luck in the scheduled event on July 16^th.

As there is no confirmation which device is going to unveil, we can simply speculate as per earlier unveiling. Company had introduced the Xiaomi Mi4 last year in July, so the launch of its successor is quite imminent, while on the other side, few reports are saying that the launch of Mi5 has been delayed. They are tipped for the October-November release. Apart from this, Redmi Note 2 has been put on hold from a long time which gives strong suggestion about its launch.

Well, the Xiaomi Mi5 is rumoured to equip with 5.2-inch QHD display with Gorilla Glass 4 coating. Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor is speculated for this handset. 16MP rear and 13MP front snappers are also expected as its innards. It is said that Xiaomi Mi5 would be priced at CNY 2,399.

Well, as we all know they are just words on the street, no-one can rely on them. To get something genuine, you will have to wait till this Thursday.
