Karbonn Unveiled Aura Power With 4G VoLTE Support For INR 5,990

Karbonn, the domestic smartphone manufacturing firm has launched a new smartphone dubbed as Aura Power. The company touted the smartphone by targeting the “growing 4G subscriber base” with its latest smartphone.

The highlighting feature of the smartphone is the support of 4G LTE bands in India - FDD LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The device also bolsters with VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility.

As for the specifications, the Karbonn Aura Power flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display having a resolution of 480*854 pixels. The dual SIM based handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the  box. It is fueled by a 1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM.

For the optics, the GSM-based mobile is loaded with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with the 2-megapixel front facing camera. The device is bestowed with 8GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.

The smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh non-removable battery, the company claims that its  handset offers up to 17 hours of talk-time and up to 1200 hours of standby time. As for the connectivity,  Karbonn Aura Power includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS connectivity options.

The smartphone will be available in Champagne and Dark Blue color variants. Dimensionally, it is measuring 141x71.2x10mm and weighs 175 grams.

Earlier this month, Karbonn launched a new entry-level Karbonn A91 Storm smartphone. The handset was now listed on the company site and was available to buy via an e-commerce website priced at Rs. 2,899.
