Lava Launched Flair S1 Smartphone With Android 5.1 At INR 3,799

Lava, the homegrown smartphone manufacturing company has launched its another budget smartphone dubbed as the Flair S1. The smartphone is listed on the company's official website with a price tag of Rs. 3,799. The handset is available in Black and Champagne Gold color variants via several third-party online retailers.

The India-based smartphone maker has touted the smartphone,  the Flair S1 sports a textured metallic finish on the back. The dual SIM based smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA TFT display having a resolution of 480*854 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

On the storage end, the smartphone houses an 8GB of inbuilt storage, that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. At the photography section, the Flair S1 incorporates 3.2-megapixel camera at the rear end and 0.3-megapixel front facing camera.

For the connectivity, the GSM handset includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, and USB-OTG. It is measuring 135x67x9.05mm and weighs 143 grams.

Lava Iris Fuel F2

The Flair S1 smartphone is backed by a 1750mAh battery and the company promises the handset to deliver up to 13 hours on 2G networks and up to 9 hours of talk time on 3G networks.

Earlier this month, Lava unveiled it's Iris Fuel 2 at a price tag of Rs. 4,444. The dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 512MB of RAM. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
