Quite recently, LeEco's (formerly known LeTV) new product got leaked in the smartphone market and as per reports, it was believed to be the successor to previously released Le 1s smartphone. The so-called smartphone was originally dubbed the LeEco Le 2 and as of now, it is getting a new name i.e., LeEco Le 2 Pro and just not the name it is expected that this new model would be different from the previously leaked images on a number of factors.
As per the leaked images, Le 2 Pro comes with some enticing features like 5.7-inch QHD display along with 4GB of RAM and is further powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The handset offers 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity that would suffice the needs of not just the casual users, but even of the high-end users. The leak images also revealed the battery capacity of Le 2 Pro to be around 3100mAh.
Though there is no news as to what Android operating system will the device operate on, however, it is said to sport 21-megapixel camera with LED flash that comes coupled with another 8-megapixel camera on the front end. Additionally, the device is equipped with loads of connectivity options that includes LTE support, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and many others. Also, to enhance the audio experience of users the leaked retail box of the smartphone indicates that it might sport Dolby Audio powered speakers.
The earlier leaked images showed the smartphone from a completely different angle and one of the major changes that were clearly visible was the branding name change on the rear side of the handset. The rear panel unlike before showcased the new branding logo LeEco while the front of the handset seemed to be identical to the Le 1s smartphone. It is worth mentioning that the Chinese Internet conglomerate Letv had recently announced that it has re-branded the company's name to LeEco in order to focus more on the fact of making its presence in the different global markets.
The leaked images also showcased some other similarities like the position of volume button and the power button remains the same as was seen in Le 1s and same was observed for the camera as well since both the smartphones sport camera at the top left corner. It was just the rear panel that the smartphone got all the makeovers since apart from the change of brand logo, the Le 2 Pro also missed the round fingerprint sensor and featured a square one instead. Secondly, the company also claimed that the fingerprint sensor has gained some improvements i.e., they are now of ultrasonic variety, however unless the company officially confirms, it is better to not believe the rumors since their being legit still remains questionable.
