Reliance, under its Lyf-branding now has come up with one more 4G supported smartphone dubbed as Water 3. The handset is exclusively available at Flipkart in its silver colour variant with a price tag of Rs 6,599. The device also comes with Reliance Jio Happy New Year Offer, in which user will be able to make unlimited voice calls and use data services till march 31.
As per as specifications are concerned, the Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display of resolution 720X1280 pixels along with a pixel density of 267 ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor paired with 2GB of Ram. The handset also packs 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card in a hybrid SIM configuration and runs Android 5.0 lollipop OS.
The optical part of the Dual-SIM handset includes a 13-megapixel rear camera along with flash and autofocus functionality. A 5-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for shooting selfies. Only one SIM at a time in the smartphone will be able to support 4G connectivity at a time, the other one should remain 2G only.
Backing up the GSM handset is a powerful 3000mAh battery, which has been claimed to provide HD video playback of 8 hours by the company. Connectivity options on the board includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and Micro-USB. Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass, and accelerometer are the sensors on the smartphone.
