Meizu m3 With 5-inch Display And 4G LTE Launched in Two Variants

Meizu - the Chinese smartphone maker has been on a launching spree since the company has again unveiled much awaited Meizu m3 smartphone for the China market. This holds importance since the company recently launched two other Android handsets dubbed as Meizu Pro 6 and the Meizu m3 Note. The new release is now available for pre-orders in China and has been priced at nearly INR 6159.34 (CNY 599) for the basic variant and INR 8215.88 (CNY 799) for the next higher variant with no information on its availability outside China.

The basic variant offers 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB of built-in storage while the upgraded variant comes featured with 3GB RAM and offers 32GB of onboard storage. The Dual-SIM handset Meizu m3 operates on Android Lollipop operating system with a custom layer of Flyme 5 OS on the top. It further sports a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and a pixel density of 296 ppi further protected by Schott Xensation cover glass.

The GSM-handset under the hood gets powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC coupled with either 2GB or 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. and bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). Alongside, it also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture. As specified earlier, the device sports 16/32GB storage capacity values both expandable via microSD card using the hybrid Dual-SIM slot. The device supports 4G LTE connectivity, but for now, it's not sure if it would be able to support Indian LTE brands or not.

The Meizu m3 will be available in five color shades namely Gold, Grey, White, Blue, and Pink and features a moulded polycarbonate body.Other connectivity options of the Meizu m3 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass. The smartphone is powered by a 2870mAh battery, weighs 132 grams, and measures 141.5x69.5x8.3mm. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, and a magnetometer.
