Meizu MX5 Featuring Fingerprint Scanner Launched in India for Rs.19,999

Chinese Smartphone maker Meizu introduced its next flagship of smartphone MX5 at its brand launch event in India. Meizu is ready to sell its 16GB variant MX5 via Snapdeal at a price tag of Rs.19,990. Later, it launched its two variants with 32GB and 64GB in India.

The MX5, which was launched in China 2 months before in June featured a 5.5inch full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek 64-bit octa-core processor and is offered with 3GB of RAM. It is equipped with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Flyme 4.5 OS and supports dual-SIM with both the Nano-SIM card slots supporting 4G.

The company adopted the same technology for its new smartphone MX5 as used in Samsung Galaxy S6. Company also admired at it had 10,000:1 contrast ratio which was 7 times higher than the Xiaomi Mi Note.

The MX5 supports with 20.7MP rear camera with laser autofocus and dual-tone LED flash and 5MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

For the connectivity option it includes 4G LTE , 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB. It also enables with Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor, gravity sensor, IR proximity sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and digital compass.

And the battery is packed with 3150mAH and supports quick charging via company's mCharge technology, which can charge upto 50% in 30 minutes of time. It weighs 149 grams in weight.
