Moto G7 and Motorola One Launched In India With Dual Rear Camera And 4GB RAM

A few days back, a series of teasers were disclosed by the Motorola regarding the launch of its Moto G7 and Motorola in India on March 25. Now the wait is over as the company has launched Moto G7 and Motorola One in India today as per the expected dates. Both the smartphones carry the same dual-camera setup at the back and come with 4GB of RAM.

Other than these two, everything is dissimilar in both smartphones. The Moto G7 flaunts a 6.24-inch display along with a Snapdragon 632 SoC while the Motorola One is powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC and has a 5.9-inch display.

Price, Availability and launch offers of the Moto G7, Motorola One in India

Price

The Moto G7 carries a price sticker of Rs 16,999 while the Motorola One comes with a price tag of Rs 13,999.

Color options

Both the smartphones will be available in two color options- Ceramic Black and Clear White.

Availability

The Moto G7 and Motorola One will be available from 25 March i.e. today and can be purchased from the Moto-Hub stores, Flipkart and authorised retail stores.

Launch Offers

The customers will get a Jio cashback offer up to Rs 2,200 on purchasing any of the smartphones. Also, note that the Jio cashback offer will only be applicable on the Jio recharge plans of Rs 198 and Rs 299 for the Motorola One and Moto G7 respectively.

Specifications of the Moto G7

The Moto G7 flaunts a 6.24-inch full-HD+ Max Vision display with a screen resolution of 2270 x 1080 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and 403ppi pixel density which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch at the top of the display which houses the selfie camera.

To keep the phone safe from any type of liquids, it comes with a layer of P2i water repellent coating. The handset packs a capacity of 3,000mAh battery along with 15W TurboPower fast charging support.

Hardware and Software

In terms of the hardware, the smartphone under the hood carries an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC which is clocked at 1.8GHz and is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which can further be expanded up to 512GB through a microSD card. In terms of the software, the Moto G7 runs on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Optics

In terms of the photography, the Moto G comes with dual camera set up at the back which includes a primary 12-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the smartphone carries an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.

Specifications of the Motorola One

The Motorola One features a 5.9-inch HD+ Max Vision LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 × 1520 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and 403ppi pixel density which is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass. The smartphone comes with a wide notch at the top of the display which houses the selfie camera.

In terms of the hardware, the smartphone under the hood carries Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC ticking alongside the Adreno 506 GPU and is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which can further be expanded up to 256GB through a microSD card. In terms of the software, the Motorola One runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo.

In terms of the photography, the Motorola One comes with dual camera set up at the back which comes with a primary 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the smartphone flaunts an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.
