Developer of Firefox web browser, Mozilla is all set to bring its budget smartphone in India soon in month of July. The company shaken hands to the Spice and Intex to arrive in the Indian market. The phone has kept in the budget segment smartphone by pricing it with Rs. 1,500 only.
Mobile World Congress 2014 is the witness of Mozill's smartphone which was held in February month in Barcelona. The phone is specially designed and developed to target the market of India and China.
"The platform will give us an edge in upgrading buyers from feature phones to smartphones while making it affordable for the mass market," Sanjay Kumar Kalirona of Intex Technologies stated.
Mozilla also has given the hint by its announcement which told, "This will propel our devices to be much more than a way to use the Web, but take the engagement further and develop the Web as a mobile platform."
By presenting this budget smartphone, Mozilla is presenting its first Firefox OS based device in India. The phone will be coming for entertaining with the "power of the Firefox OS phone."
Mozilla has made the Firefox OS phone to add the experience of web in hand with more accessibility features and may give competition to Microsoft's Windows phones and Google's Android phones.
