MWC 2017: Nokia 3310 Returns along with Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6

For many of us, Nokia was the first mobile phone we used. We all have numerous unforgettable memories with this manufacturer. And the best one was its fondest 3310 handset, snake game of which was vastly popular among the 90s kids. Later on, as smartphones became the trend of the market, the era of such phones was wiped out.     

And finally, the legend has come back in an all-new avatar.

Yeah! You heard this right. Nokia 3310 has made a comeback in its new iteration. It comes with a different design, additional features and a variety of color options. Also, the Finland-based HMD Global has launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android-based smartphones for international markets at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. # Nokia 3310:-

The all-new Nokia 3310 gets the similar iconic face with slightly modern touch. It comes in four different colors - Warm Red and Yellow, both with a gloss finish and Dark Blue and Grey colour, both with a matte finish. Packed with a removable 1200mAh, the phone is good for 22 hours of talk-time and also claimed to have a month long standby time. Moreover, you will also get to revive your childhood memories with its snack game. It will also be available to users via Facebook Messenger app.

On the specification front, the device comes with a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and gets a 2.4-inch QVGA display. Also, available with 2G connectivity for calling and texting as well as runs on Nokia Series 30+ OS. Though it comes with only 16MB of internal storage, it can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device is accessible in both single and dual-SIM variants.

For such features, Nokia 3310 will go on sale at the price of 49 Euros (approx INR 3500). According to various media reports, the India-spec unit will take place around May this year.

The Nokia 3 smartphone has a 5-inch IPS display offering HD resolution along with a polycarbonate body, machined aluminium frame, and will come with Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection. Color option for this phone is Silver White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue, and Copper White. Under the skin, the Nokia 3 receive a 1.3Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB).

In terms of camera, the handset gets 8-megapixel shooter with autofocus both on the back and the front. The manufacturer adds that it houses display flash for quality pictures. The handset is backed by a 2650mAh battery and will be available as both single SIM and dual-SIM units. The Android 7.0 Nougat supportable unit has been priced at 139 Euros (roughly INR 10,000).

# Nokia 5:-

Touted as the toned version of the Nokia 6, the all-new Nokia 5 is somewhat similar to the Nokia 3. Powering this device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor packed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, which supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The handset boasts a 5.2-inch IPS HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass cover on top. It gets several colour options that include Tempered Blue, Silver, Matte Black, and Copper.

On the camera front, it hosts a 13-megapixel back camera with autofocus and dual tone flash, while the front is an 8-megapixel camera. The handset is fueled by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. Available in both single SIM and dual-SIM variants, it runs latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat facility. On the pricing aspects, it will retail for 189 Euros (approx INR 13,500). Both Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 will be available here in the country by the second quarter of 2017.

# Nokia 6:- 

Nokia 6 Displayed at MWC 2017

First launched for the Chinese Market back in January this year, the Nokia 6 has also been introduced at the company's Sunday launch event at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. It is the comeback mobile device for Nokia that works on the7.1.1 Nougat. The firm also announced an exclusive Nokia 6 Arc Black variant sporting high-class piano black colour. While the former is priced at 229 Euros (approx Rs. 16,000), the latter cost 299 Euros (almost Rs. 21,000)

When it comes to features the Nokia 6 houses a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Also, it has 64GB expandable inbuilt storage.

The handset gets a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF as well as packs an 8-megapixel front camera. Backed by 3,000mAh battery, the smartphone also supports Dolby Atmos and has a fingerprint scanner placed on the Home Button. It is a 4G-enabled handset that allows Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS and USB-OTG.
