Nokia 3310 (2017) Price Revealed in India; Company Says it Unofficial

HMD Global, the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer, has unveiled a revamped version of the legendary Nokia 3310 mobile phone, which fluently stole the entire show. The handset is expected to be initially available in Germany and Austria on April 28, 2017. Interestingly, the feature phone has already been listed on an Indian retailer site with a price tag of Rs. 3,899.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) has been spotted on an Indian retailer website named as OnlyMobiles.com along with a “Coming Soon” tag and a price tag of Rs 3,899. Apart from the specifications, the online retailer also claims that is will be available in Warm Red, Dark Blue, Yellow and Grey colour variants.

The company has still not made any official announcement on the pricing and availability of  Nokia 3310 (2017). The company unveiled some reports in March according to which, the new feature phone will be introduced in India in Q2 ahead of the Nokia-branded smartphones. The company has also confirmed that the pricing listed at OnlyMobile is unofficial, and no announcements have been made regarding that yet.

The GSM smartphone is blessed with a refreshed design, keeping the rounded edges and sturdy build iconic to the original 3310. It features a new curved screen window, which is basically designed for better "readability in sunlight". It also packs new push buttons along with a new UI. Moreover, this time the handset will be available in some vibrant colour options such as Red, Yellow, Blue and Grey.

Concerning the specifications, the Dual-SIM handset packs a 2.4-inch QVGA display and runs Nokia Series 30+ OS. It comes with 16MB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. In term of optics, the mobile phone features a 2-megapixel rear camera. The handset will be seen supporting 2G connectivity and also includes a 3.5mm audio jack. It is backed up by a 1200mAh battery, which has been claimed to deliver up to 22 hours of talk time and up to 31 days of standby time.
