HMD Global Nokia event now will be held on December 10 instead of December 6 where the company would unveil the much- anticipated Nokia 8.1 in the India market. The confusion about the launch event has cleared today as the company started sending the invites to press media for the gathering. However, the company has not revealed anything officially about the timeline of Nokia 8.1.
As per the leaks surfaced on the internet reveals that the Nokia 8.1 is likely to be considered the star of the event.
The Nokia 8.1 will be a rebranded name of Nokia X7 for the markets outside China. HMD has quietly unveiled the Nokia 7.1 in India on November 30, 2018.

The Nokia 8.1 will come with a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, it will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 clocked at 2.2GHz. The company will three color options of Nokia 8.1: Red, Blue, and Silver.
The Nokia 8.1 will be available in three storage variants: 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM+64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM +128GB internal storage. The upcoming Nokia 8.1 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo - out- of- the- box. As a part of Android One Programme, soon it will receive the Android 9 Pie update in the coming future. It will get a battery back up of 3400mAh coupled with 18W fast charging capabilities.
