Nokia 9 Specs Leaked: Confirm Triple Lens Camera Setup, 6.1-inch QHD AMOLED Display

An alleged specification of Nokia 9 has finally appeared online but not officially. The entire spec sheet of the smartphone has been posted on Slashleaks along with an image demonstration.

According to the spec sheet posted by Slashleaks suggesting that the Nokia 9 could come with triple lens camera setup on the rear panel as same as to the recently launched Huawei P20 Pro. The three cameras on the rear panel of the smartphone comprise a combination of a 41MP primary wide-angle camera, a 20MP secondary telephoto lens and a 9.7MP monochrome camera with ZEISS optics and "high-quality" low-light capability. The main camera on the smartphone is said to feature a 4x optical zoom support and an LED flash. It is speculated that the Nokia 9 could feature a 21MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies and video calling.

According to the report, the smartphone is likely to come with a 6.1-inch QHD AMOLED screen along with an 18:9 aspect ratio display that means the smartphone will come with a Full-Screen Display. It is anticipated that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.

The leaked images of Nokia 9 suggesting a ceramic rear panel along with an 18-karat gold finish which looks identical to the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 7 Plus. It seems that the smartphone would be fuelled by a 3900mAh battery along with the support of Qi wireless charging. It will come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The previous rumored report suggests that the Nokia could be equipped with an under- display fingerprint scanner.

It is anticipated that the Nokia 9 will run on Android 8.1.0 out-of-the-box. Connectivity options on the smartphone are USB type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and 3.5mm headphone jack. According to the current spec sheet which was posted on Slashleaks suggesting that the Nokia 9 is likely to come with 5 mics which will allow users to record audio at 24-bit.

Currently, the company has not announced officially when the Nokia 9 will unveil globally. It seems that Nokia 2018 lineup of smartphones will be coming soon in India. Ajay Mehta, VP of HMD Global’s has posted the teaser image on Twitter with the tagline “Stay tuned”, indicating that the company is likely to launch its 2018 smartphone lineup in India. HMD Global has conducted the launch event on 4th of April in India where the company officially reveal Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and the Nokia 8110 smartphones. These smartphones were previously unveiled at the Mobile World Congress Event (MWC) 2018 which was conducted in Barcelona.
