Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is planning to launch a new smartphone in its R- series likely to be dubbed as Oppo R15 Neo that is claimed to be available at an affordable price. However, the company has not announced officially regarding the gadget but the key specifications of an alleged smartphone have appeared on the internet in the form of leaks.
Apart from Oppo R15 Neo, the Chinese tech giant is also working on Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro versions as most of the specifications were leaked on the internet before the official announcement.

The Oppo R15 Neo is likely to feature a 6.2-inch screen HD+ IPS LCD display with screen resolution of 1520×720 pixels. It is speculated that it would be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The R15 Neo is likely to be available in two variants: 3GB RAM+64GB internal storage and 4GB+64GB internal storage.
In terms of software, the alleged R15 Neo will run on latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS layered with ColorOS 5.1.
In terms of photography, the Oppo R15 Neo will come with dual cameras consisting of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and f/2.4 respectively along with LED flash and auto- focus on the rear panel.
Under the hood, the R15 would be packed with a 4230 mAh battery. The smartphone will support 4G VoLTE-enabled dual-SIM slot along with GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro USB 2.0 port.
Currently, the company has not disclosed the price and availability details of Oppo R15 Neo but it is anticipated that it would be priced lesser than F9 and F9 Pro.
Another smartphone of Oppo R-series, dubbed as Oppo R17 appeared on TENAA listings a few days ago which suggests how the smartphone looks in terms of appearance.
