Since July, reports were doing rounds that the Chinese mobile manufacturer Oukitel will come up soon with a phone with large battery. Finally, the company has unveiled the handset named as Oukitel K10000 that is packed with a 10000mAh battery inside. Wow, that's quite impressive! It is priced at USD 239.99 that equates to INR 16,000. However, it is available for sale on a US based e-commerce portal at introductory discounts that will enable the customers to avail it at USD 199.99 i.e. INR 13,500. as per the online retailer, the shipping of the handset will commence from January 21.
The company has not given any confirmation regarding the availability of the device in other markets and hence we are not sure if it'll enter Indian shores anytime soon. Though, Oukitel had also introduced a power packed K6000 mobile with 6000mAh battery back in October, which is not a usual figure in the market. But still, this upcoming K10000 is surely something that will beat everything else on its way.
Talking about the specifications, it carries a 5.5 inch HD IPS display and is packed with 1GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735 SoC. Storage capacity consists of 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory that can be further extended upto 32GB via microSD card. The front camera comes with 2MP resolution while the rear camera has 8MP resolution and supports face detection, Panorama shot, anti-shake, HDR and face beauty. It weighs 184gms and connectivity options consist of 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPRS/EDGE GPRS/A-GPS.
Further, it is backed by Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports dual micro SIMs both with 4G LTE functionality. Besides, owing to the 10,00mAh battery it can also be used as a power bank that can charge up three iPhone 6S Plus handsets.
