Panasonic Eluga S Mini Announced for India, Priced at Rs. 8,990

The Japan based Multinational Electronics Corporation, Panasonic has made a foray against currently present budget smartphones in India by launching Eluga S Mini. Apparently, firm has announced this smaller sibling of Eluga S for native space at Rs. 8,990 and it is expected to go on sale shortly.

During the announcement, Managing Director at company: Manish Sharma stated that newly-launched smartphone is a good proposition for younger generation that provides decent features at affordable value. He also added, "keeping in mind the affordability aspect, this device is perfect for consumers looking for innovation, design, superior build quality and advanced features."

If we will take a look at specifications, then gadget looks almost identical to the original model, but its 4.7-inch display and inclusion of a 1980mAh battery make it different from ideal version, which has a bigger 5-inch screen size and more promising 2100mAh battery. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, phone assimilates an 1.4 GHz True Octa-Core processor in its shell.

This dual SIM equipped mobile is fitted with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash alongside a 5-megapixel front snapper. In terms of memory, Panasonic Eluga S Mini is housed with 1GB RAM along with 8GB of internal memory that can be extended up to 32GB via a MicroSD card. On connectivity front, novel creation of tech giant offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB options.

As we know, it is basically an attempt of mobile maker to capture the rapidly growing market of budget mobiles in India, but this realm has become quite tough, where Xiaomi Redmi 2, Lenovo A6000 and Micromax Yu Yuphoria are the biggest rivals of Eluga S Mini.
