Panasonic T44 Lite With One Year Manufacturing Warranty Launched

Japanese conglomerate Panasonic has again unveiled a brand new budget-friendly smartphone for its Indian buyers. The new handset will be made available via e-commerce portal Snapdeal from Monday itself for just Rs 3,199.

Not just the price, the new Android smartphone is quite friendly in terms of its specifications too. As per reports, the new gadget Panasonic T44 Lite sports a 4-inch WVGA display that gives a resolution of 800x400 pixels. It is a Dual-SIM smartphone that gives support for both the Normal SIM as well as Micro SIM cards and comes loaded with Android latest operating system i.e., Android v6.0 Marshmallow.

Under the hood, the GSM-handset gets powered by a minimal 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Also, in terms of internal storage capacity, the device offers 8GB memory with expansion support of up to 32GB using external microSD card.

The new Panasonic T44 Lite offers a basic 2-megapixel rear camera with flash support and comes with a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front end which suffices enough for selfies. To improve the picture quality, the company has incorporated a number of features in the camera like Burst Mode, Just Shut Mode, Panorama, and Digital Image Stabilisation. Dimensionally, the device measures at 127.3x66x9.65 mm, and also carries a weight of 137 grams.

The device packs a decent 2400mAh battery that as per company can deliver up to 20 hours of talk time on 2G and 8.5 hours on 3G alongside offering a standby talk time of nearly 400 hours. Though the device offers no 4G connectivity, but it does offer other standard options like GSM 800/900/1800/1900, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support. Te company other than offering a one-year manufacturing warranty along with the smartphone has also released it in three color variants namely Rose Gold, Electric Blue and Champagne Gold.

Panasonic Eluga Note

Quite recently, the company brought another smartphone in the country under the moniker of Eluga Note and priced it for Rs 13,290. The smartphone featured a 5.5-inch full-HD display and was powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor. Additionally, it came with 32GB of inbuilt storage and offered 3GB RAM capacity. It also sported a 16-megapixel rear camera and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) support.
