Realme 3 Pro, Realme C2 Officially Launched in India

The most awaited smartphones, Realme C2 and the Realme 3 Pro have been officially launched in India. Both the smartphones were launched at a press event in New Delhi on 22nd April 2019. The Realme C2 is the successor of the Realme C1 which was launched in 2018. The Realme 3 Pro was surrounded by many rumors from past many days, and the launch has halted the rumors. The Realme 3 Pro is the high-end variant of the Realme 3.

The Realme C2 flaunts a laser-cut technology based diamond-cut design as well as a three-layer paintjob. Getting the power from the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, the processor is mated with up to 3GB of RAM. The Realme C2 has been manufactured to compete with the Samsung Galaxy M10 and Redmi 7 in terms of the affordability. The newly launched smartphone comes in two onboard storage variants i.e. 16GB and 32GB which can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the other hand, the most rumored smartphone- Realme 3 Pro comes with improved camera, larger screen with a higher resolution, faster SoC and many more if compared with the Realme 3. The Realme 3 Pro is seen flaunting a bigger 6.3-inch full-HD+ display which gets the power from the Snapdragon 710 SoC. While on the software side, the recently launched smartphone runs on latest Android Pie which is based on ColorOS 6.0. The smartphone is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5 and comes in triple colors.

The device is designed to take a dig on the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India which costs Rs 13,999.

Realme C2

Price

The 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage variant of the Realme C2 carries a price sticker of Rs 5,999 while the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage variant costs Rs 7,999.

Availability

The Realme C2 is available in two color options- Diamond Black and Diamond Blue. The smartphone can be grabbed via Flipkart and official Realme website from 15th May at 12PM (noon).

Launch Offer

The company has not yet revealed any launch offer of the Realme C2. We have to wait for the official announcement of the company.

Rivals

In India, the Realme C2 will compete with the rivals- Redmi 7 and Samsung Galaxy M10. the Samsung Galaxy M10 carries a price tag of Rs 7,990 in India while the Redmi 7 will most probably be launched along with the Redmi Y3 on 24th April. The Redmi 7 smartphone is available in China with a price sticker of CNY 699 i.e. approx Rs 7,300 in terms of the Indian Currency.

Realme 3 Pro

Price

The 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant of the Realme 3 Pro carries a price sticker of Rs 13,999 while the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage variant costs Rs 16,999.

Availability

The Realme 3 Pro is available in three color options- Lightning Purple, Nitro Blue, and Carbon Grey with a gradient finish. The smartphone can be grabbed via Flipkart and official Realme website from 29th May at 12PM (noon). The Carbon Grey and Nitro Blue color can be purchased from the first day of sale while the Lightning Purple color will be disclosed in next month.

Before going to the sale on 29th April, the company will organise a pop-up store on 27th April at 4:30PM in Pacific Mall, Subhash Nagar, New Delhi. In this the customers will be having a chance to grab the Realme 3 Pro before the official sale.

Launch Offer

On the 29th April, the first 1,000 lucky customers will get free Realme Buds if they buy the smartphone via the online store of the company. The customers will also get 15 percent cashback which is up to Rs 1,500 if the payment is done by Mobikwik.

On the other hand, the customers who will purchase the Realme 3 Pro smartphone through Flipkart will receive Rs 1,000 discount if the payment is done through the HDFC Bank debit card, credit card, and EMI transactions. The customers who will buy the smartphone via Flipkart will get no-cost EMI option up to six months.

Apart from all these, the customer who buys the smartphone from any mode will get benefit of Rs 5,300 from the Reliance Jio.

In India, the Realme 3 Pro will compete with the rival Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone which in India costs Rs 13,999.

The Realme C2 runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie which is based on ColorOS 6.0. The smartphone comes with rear fingerprint scanner for security. The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone comes with a capacity of 4,000mAh battery and the dimensions are 154.3 x 73.7 x 8.5 mm.

In terms of the connectivity options, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, Bluetooth v4.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While the sensors includes an accelerometer, magnetometer sensor, ambient light, and a proximity sensor.

The Realme C2 come in two RAM options i.e. 2GB and 3GB of RAM and on the other hand there are two onboard storage which includes 32GB and 64GB. Both the onboard storage can further be expanded up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

In the imaging department, the Realme C2 at the back comes with dual camera setup which includes a primary 13-megapixel sensor with a pixel size of 1.12 microns and an f/2.2 lens and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor with a pixel size of 1.75 microns and an f/2.4 lens. At the front, the smartphone includes a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calling. The Realme 3 Pro flaunts a bigger 6.3-inch full-HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 along with 2.5D curved glass which gets the protection from the layer of Corning Gorilla 5. The maximum brightness of the display is 400 nits with 1200:1 of contrast ratio. The Realme 3 Pro is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, mated with Adreno 616 GPU.

Features

The Realme 3 Pro runs on the latest Android Pie which is based on the ColorOS 6.0. The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) comes with a capacity of 4,045 battery along with the VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner at the back for security.

The Realme 3 Pro measures 156.8 x 74.2 x 8.3 mm and weighs 172 grams.
