Samsung Bringing Z3 Smartphone in India at Rs.8,490

Samsung, the South Korean giant, is bringing its second Tizen powered smartphone Z3 in India. Earlier this year, the company has launched its first Tizen powered smartphone Z1 in India at a price tag of Rs.5700.

The newly built Samsung Z3 will be exclusively available on Snapdeal at a price chit of Rs. 8,490 onwards from October 21. For the flagship of the smartphone, Vodafone also provides 1GB of free data per month for a period of two months as an introductory offer.

The smartphone features a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor under the shell. The device is equipped with 1GB of RAM and have the internal storage of 8GB, which is further expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card slot expansion.

The device is running on the final version of Tizen 2.4 operating system which is debuting on the device. Tizen also joins the list of alternate operating systems like Ubuntu, Firefox and so on, that are looking to capture the Android market share.

The device is backed by 2600mAh battery, featuring with Samsung’s Ultra Power Saving mode, which enables the function to increase the battery life when you really need it. This saving mode allows the users to save the data costs by compressing all incoming and outgoing internet traffic.

The Z3 hits the Indian market arrives preloaded with Samsung’s My Galaxy and Mix Radio apps for free region specific content.  It will be available in different color variants including gold, black and silver color variants.

On the camera side, the smartphone has an 8 MP camera with LED flash at the back side and have the 5 MP wide angle selfie camera on the board. For the connectivity option, the dual SIM smartphone includes 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE, and GPS.
