Samsung Galaxy M30 Launched in India With Huge 5,000mAh Battery and Triple Camera

Samsung Galaxy M30 has been trending online from last few weeks and finally, the wait is over as the new smartphone in M- series has finally launched in India on February 28, 2019, with a triple rear camera set up. Samsung, the South- Korean giant has added the new M- series in its existing line up to give stiff competition to Xiaomi, Oppo and other OEMs.

Galaxy M- series has been designed particularly for the affordable segment keep in mind the requirements of users. The key attractions of Galaxy M30 include large Super AMOLED display, triple rear camera set up and a mammoth 5,000mAh battery coupled with fast charging. So far, Samsung has launched three smartphones in Galaxy M- series including M10, M20 and M30.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M30 comes with a starting price of Rs 14,990 for the base 4GB of RAM/ 64GB storage model and goes up to Rs 17,990 for the high 6GB of RAM/ 128GB storage variant. The buyers can choose among Gradation Black and Gradation Blue color options.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 will be available for purchase from March 7, 2019, via Amazon.in and Samsung official website. Although, the sale will start at 12 pm IST (Noon) on March 7. The Galaxy M30 would compete against the likes of Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Nokia 6 Plus and Honor 10 Lite.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M30 supports dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) that runs on the company- owned Samsung Experience v9.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The company promises that the device would soon receive the Android Pie Software update in the forthcoming months.

The Samsung Galaxy M30 sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display along with a teardrop-shaped notch and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone under the hood carries the octa-core Exynos 7904 processor.

The smartphone has a dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) and runs on the Samsung Experience v9.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Samsung said that the latest version i.e. Android 9 Pie will be rolled out soon for the M30 along with Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20.

In terms of the optics, the Samsung Galaxy M30 at the rear carries triple camera setup which includes a 13MP primary RGB sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP ultra wide angle lens along with a 123-degree Field-of-View (FOV) and an f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the smartphone sports a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calling which also supports the selfie focus.

The Samsung Galaxy M30 comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery along with the fast charging capability by the 15W charger. Samsung said that the new smartphone can run for the full day and gets charged three times faster than the 5W charger through USB Type-C port. The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor at the back and also features a Face Unlock. The handset also comes with Widevine L1 certification which means that the user can watch HDR content from Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos.
