Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Announced at Rs. 64,900 to Empty Indians Wallet

Around four months have been spent since Samsung’s limited edition smartphone Galaxy Note Edge has blossomed in World. The Korean mobile manufacturer had presented its premium handset first time in its Unpacked Event at IFA 2014 along with the flagship Galaxy Note 4. Since then, the stylish device was in talks for its India debut. Now, it looks like the dream is nearer to become true as the Korean major has announced its innovative Galaxy Note Edge for Indian market with edged display that curves till the end of the front panel.

Alike other markets, India people will also need to empty their wallets to grab this device. The pricey device will get the price tag of Rs. 64,900 and will go on sale in first week of January 2015. Vice President for mobile and IT at Samsung India, Asim Warsi said, "India’s always performed amongst the best in the world when it comes to flagship sales."

The Korean tech gargantuan claimed this as a limited edition device with a plan of selling it in 22 countries, including Austria, Denmark, Australia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, France, India, Kazakhstan, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Nepal, Russia, Singapore, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK.

Edged Display to Show its Uniqueness and distinctive Nature

The curved display on the right edge goes to the end of the front panel to comfort you accessing shortcuts, notifications and many more. So, you can experience the dual screen with this smartphone. One screen is the 5.6-inch Super AMOLED QHD+ display and the other is a thin strip-like bent display. The main screen offers 2560x1440 pixels resolution while 160p is offered by the side display. Weather information, notification, clock, news feed etc can be accessed directly from this tiny bent screen. Except these, all the other specs of Samsung Galaxy Note Edge are identical with Note 4 which includes Android 4.4 with TouchWiz UI, 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and many more.
