Back in July this year, we saw the some leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini. At that time, we didn’t have any information related to its specifications. This time one of the e-commerce website has been listed the couple of images and specifications of the smartphone.
The South Korean Smartphone manufacturing firm Samsung was among the first manufacturers to sell a smaller variant of their larger flagship devices. As per the listing by the e-commerce website Letstango, the smartphone will feature a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. On the software front, the device is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system and is powered by hexa-core Qualcomm processor (probably the Snapdragon 808) clocked at 1.8GHz, clubbed with Adreno 418 GPU and 2GB RAM.
The Galaxy S6 Mini variant will house a 15 megapixel of rear snapper alongside 5 megapixel of front facing snapper. The listing of the smartphone indicates, the handset to feature a PayPal certified fingerprint sensor alongside Samsung Pay support, Qi wireless charging, S Voice natural language commands and dictation, ANT+ support, air gestures, and other document editing apps. The handset, showing its presence in a Dark Blue color variant.
For the connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini includes 4G LTE Cat 6. Connectivity, A-GPS, USB 3.0, Bluetooth v4. 0, Beidou, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Wi-Fi Direct under connectivity front. It bears a 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via MicroSD card slot expansion. It will be packed with a non-removable Li-ion battery.
The company has not yet announced that when it will launch the mini variant of the Galaxy S6.
