Samsung Launches New Line Of Galaxy J7 Prime And J5 Prime In India

The world's leading smartphone maker Samsung has launched the new line of Galaxy J7 Prime and J5 Prime, in India. The original J7 Prime and the J5 Prime were released in October 2016 and are one of the company's best-selling J series models, which kept Samsung on top of the leader's board for the last couple of quarters. In a bid to keep the momentum going, the company has doubled the storage from 16GB to 32GB in the new variants for Rs. 16,900 and Rs. 14,900, respectively. Both models are available in offline shops and also on Samsung's official e-store online.

New Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Back and Front

Among the two, the Galaxy J7 Prime is the top-end model. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) Super AMOLED display with the fingerprint sensor on the home button and comes packed with 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core CPU backed by 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a 3,300mAh battery.
The phone also boasts of a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9aperture, LED flash and an 8MP snapper with f/1.9 aperture.

On the other hand, the Galaxy J5 Prime sports smaller 5.0-inch HD screen and come packed with quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP primary camera, 5MP shooter on the front and a 2,400mAh battery. Both the models come with Samsung's exclusive features - S Power Planning and S Secure. For the unaware, The S Power feature helps owners save phone's battery life with three options – reserve battery for calls, extended battery time and forward calls when the battery dies. On the other hand, the S Secure mode's folder locking feature, where users can lock and hide apps in the smartphone also secures Wi-Fi network connection from getting hacked.
