Samsung Unveiled Orchid Grey Colour Variants of Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ in India

Samsung, the South Korean conglomerate, on Wednesday, introduced the Orchid Grey colour variant of its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in India, which will be available with a price tag of Rs 57,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively.

Asim Warsi, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business of Samsung India, in a statement said, “To further fuel the unprecedented response to Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, Samsung is pleased to introduce the all new Orchid Gray colour. Through this, our consumers would make a style statement that would set them above and apart from everyone else.”

The statement further added that the desired buyers will also get a dual benefit with the purchase of the smartphone, in which he/she will get a free convertible wireless charger worth Rs 4,499, along with a cashback of Rs. 3,000 on HDFC credit card. The company has announced that the pre-orders of new colour variants will start from July 5 via Flipkart and Samsung Shop. Moreover, desired users can also pre-order the new colour variants via selected offline retailers from 12th of July.

As a recall, Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones back in April 2017, which was only available in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colour variants in starting, and later introduced in a new Coral Blue colour too. Later in June, the South Korean company also introduced the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the Galaxy S8+ smartphone in India, which is only available in Midnight Black colour variant.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Orchid Grey Colour Variant

Last month, the company unveiled a new Rose Pink colour variant of the Galaxy S8+ in Taiwan, which is yet to make its way in the country. In Taiwan, the giant smartphone manufacturer also rebranded the Coral Blue, Maple Gold, and Orchid Grey colour variants to Ice Lake Blue, Quicksand Gold, and Smoked Purple Grey respectively.
