The domestic mobile manufacturer Spice has introduced two smartphone in the fray of low-range Android KitKat handset. The Stellar 517 and Stellar 470 are the devices which have been unpacked at the same price of Rs. 7,999. Official availability of this smartphone is quite unpredictable as Company has not announced yet. Both handsets come paired with dual SIM functionality. Both are 3G enabled devices with Android 4.4 KitKat support. Both share the same performance with 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM.
The Spice Stellar 517 seems quite identical in specification list with Stellar 518 which was launched earlier. The only difference you have found in newly launched and earlier launched device are about battery backup and front shooter. Its 5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD display offers 480x854 pixels resolution. It is paired with 8GB of built-in storage, no word on expandable storage.
Imaging front is blessed with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear snapper which has LED flash to capture stunning pictures. On the other side, a 2-megapixel front camera houses for best selfie and video calling output. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery and will come in White and Grey colors. Spice Stellar 517 offers GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity purpose.
On the other hand, the Spice Stellar 470 comes equipped with 4.7-inch qHD IPS display and provides 540x960 pixels output. The rear gets the same resolution as its sibling which is 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. A 3.2-megapixel front-facing shooter is also on-board for video calling and selfie. It bears the 8GB of built-in storage, expandable storage is not known.
It lacks in battery with 1500mAh capacity and gets GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity reasons. It gets two colors- Black and Blue, and measures 137.8x68.6x7.9mm. Both handsets are listed on official website with price and specifications.
