The new Nexus smartphones are likely to come with some new features like “Support tab” and “Night light”. The upcoming models of these Android smartphones are expected to come with Ambient Display feature too.
Android Nougat is just a few weeks away from its release and now Google has proposed a new design for the setting layout in the new Nexus smartphones. We can see in the screenshot given below that in the new series we will find a dual-pane UI showing two sections in the setting option “All” and “Support”. The new Support tab feature will exclusively be available in Nexus smartphones. A new color palette can also be observed in the Settings menu, which seems to be used for darker gray, blue and white UI compared to pre-existing lighter shades of gray, blue and white UI. The changes look quite attractive and nice.
A “Night-light” feature will also be introduced by Google, which was previously mentioned as Night Mode. In that particular feature, the screen tinted red for better and easier viewing the screen in dim lights or evenings. Google previously refused the availability of this option in the final Nougat release, but it seems like we can see it at least in the Nexus models. Users will get a manual option to switch the Night light and a feature to adjust a custom schedule for it is also given.
In the end, Google has introduced a new ambient display feature. If the Ambient display feature is switched on in your device then it will help you accessing the various notifications without even unlocking the phone. The previous versions of the ambient display were triggered only by picking up the phone but this time, things are getting more advanced and simpler.You can now switch your ambient display on but just double tapping on the screen.
