Vivo, the renowned Chinese smartphone maker has finally launched the much awaited Vivo X9s and X9s Plus smartphones in China. The major highlight of the smartphones is that they don a double camera setup at the front, for better selfies and video chats. Unlike other phones that are focused on building the dual camera setup at the back, Vivo has introduced the same setup at the front for its Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus. The Vivo X9 sports a full metal design, with the antenna band situation motivated by Apple's most recent drawings. The pictures affirm Rose Gold variation, and the unique fingerprint sensor is coordinated underneath the Home Button. The Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus handsets are priced at CNY 2,698 (Approx. Rs. 25,600) and CNY 2,998 (Approx. Rs. 28,500), respectively.
Both handsets will be made available in the in Matte Black, Gold, and Rose Gold color options and the registration for the sale will start from 14th July and the sale is scheduled to commence on the 20th July. The smartphones wear additional thin bezels at 1.59mm, and the display is ensured by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. One of the front sensors is at 20-megapixel, while the other is at 5-megapixel. The Vivo X9 houses the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and 3.5 sound jack at the base edge. The volume and power buttons are housed on the right edge.

On the specification front, the Vivo X9s operates on Android 7.1 Nougat based on FunTouch OS 3.1 and has support for the dual-SIM slot. This latest Vivo smartphone has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) AMOLED display and has been powered by the Snapdragon 652 octa-core (quad Cortex-A72 clocked at 1.8GHz quad Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.2GHz) SoC paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone features 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded by the use of microSD card.
On the camera front, the device has the rear camera of a 16-megapixel sensor with LED flash and PDAF. On the front, the gadget comes with the dual camera setup of 20-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors to capture depth - coupled with a soft-LED flash. The Vivo X9s comes packed with 3320mAh battery with fast charging facility and connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, Micro USB, USB OTG, and 3.5mm audio jack.
On the other hand, the Vivo X9s Plus specifications include a 5.85-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) AMOLED display. The device has been powered by a Snapdragon 653 octa-core (quad Cortex-A72 clocked at 1.95GHz quad Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.44GH ) SoC paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The battery capacity is 4015mAh and it also supports fast charging. The dimensions of the Vivo X9s Plus are at 162.59x78.84x7.25mm, and apart from all this, all the other specifications match with the Vivo X9s smartphone.
