Everyone is eagerly waiting for the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2019 as it holds a lot of things to give. It is only two weeks away and we have a lot of expectation from the largest mobile exhibition in the world. Now, Nubia is going to showcase its foldable or flexible smartphone at the MWC 2019 and it can be speculated by the invite which the Nubia received for the event at MWC 2019. Nubia shared the invite but has not yet shared the exact date of the launch so we can assume that the upcoming foldable smartphone will be showcased at the expo.
Before a few weeks, Huawei also shared its MWC 2019 invite and the shared image shows the sides of the upcoming smartphone with a curve in the middle which is speculated as the foldable smartphone. The image shared by Nubia of the invite does not give us any idea about the smartphone but the tagline “Flex your life” hints towards the flexible phone.

At 2018 Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin, Nubia showcased the concept model of the Alpha which is a device with a flexible display strip that can be worn on the wrist like a smartwatch. At the booth of Nubia, the device was showcased but it was not in a working state because it was still on its testing phase. So we expect that Nubia might disclose the upgraded Alpha version at the MWC 2019 or might also bring a new device.
Till now, there is no rumours or leaks about the flexible device except the Alpha concept model which was shown at IFA 2018. The device uses Flex which is the proprietary flexible technology of Nubia. It features a light strip by which one can customise it using the themes. The flexible and wearable smartphone is expected to come with a specially tuned proximity sensor which controls the orientation of the foldable and wearable smartphone. The company also claims that it will also offer 4G connectivity and a smart camera with one-touch modes.
Still, we cannot predict what Nubia is going to launch at the event as the invite does not show off anything. But the happy news is that we will not have to wait for a long time to find out what Nubia has in its pocket.
