The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is all set to organize an event on August 13 and the reports are saying that we will also get a look of the MIUI 7. So, we could finally get the chance to take a glimpse of this new version of company's custom UI. Well, it's been confirmed as a post on company's forum has marked confirmation on this news and it will be held at China National Convention Centre.
Well, we cannot say about any features of this custom skin as company has not provided any detail on this.
There are some speculation that this custom build of Xiaomi is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It's not the first time when we are getting the rumours on this custom OS. The same we have already been received. Now, it's finally reached to an end point where it got its date to release. We make you clear that MIUI 6 is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and earlier it was said that it would bring few updated features on MIUI 6. However, we cannot rely on any information as company itself has not commented anything on this side.
It s also speculated that Xiaomi Mi5 may also get unveil at the same time along with the new UI. It is also suggested that company may bring it at the price tag of around Rs. 24,500. However, the invite has not told about the launch of any new smartphone.
This upcoming flagship has been talked several times in leaks and rumours where it is said to come with 5.2-inch QHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating. It is also said to come equipped with Snapdragon 810 processor, 16-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also speculated that it will come paired with a fingerprint sensor also.
