Xiaomi Launched Mi 4S Smartphone With Fingerprint Scanner

Xiaomi has announced the launching of its new smartphone dubbed as Mi 4S at an event in Beijing, China. The handset will go on sale in China starting from March 1 and has been priced at CNY 1699 (approximately Rs. 18,000). The smartphone will be available in Black, Gold, Purple and White color variant.

The main highlighting feature of the device is that it sports fingerprint scanner at the back panel and runs MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It is featuring a 5-inch full HD IPS display having a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels and is offering a pixel density of 441ppi. The Mi 4S is powered by a hexa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 coupled with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

On the storage end, it houses a 64GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expandable via microSD card slot expansion. At the photography section, the Xiaomi Mi 4S is loaded with a 13-megapixel camera at the rear end with dual tone LED flash and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), along with a 5-megapixel front facing camera on the board as well.

For the connectivity, the latest smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and packs USB Type-C. It is backed by a 3260mAh non-removable battery with a support of Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology, The Xiaomi Mi 4S also packs infrared sensor.
