Xiaomi's latest launched Mi A1 smartphone which runs on Google's Android One has received its November security patch. Xiaomi Mi A1, the Android One smartphone from the company that went official in September is receiving a new software update. Going by screenshots shared by users, the update weighs in at around 465MB in most cases, although for some, size is over 1GB. While being part of Android One means that you receive timely updates, there's still no Oreo for Mi A1 users.
As of now, there's no clarity on exactly what other new features or improvements the update contains. The security update from Google promises improved security and bug fixes for the smartphone. The update also brings improved stability for the Mi A1 along with optimised performance. Being an Android One smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi A1 will get the Android Oreo update soon. However, The size difference in updates for the Mi A1 is confusing and isn't clarified if it brings any additional upgrade. The Android in an operating system designed by Google that comes with stock Android experience without any possible modification.

It must be noted that the Xiaomi has launched the Rose Gold variant Mi A1 smartphone a couple of days back. The device features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass. It offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
To recap, the Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with a dual camera setup at its rear with a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens along with 2x optical zoom and portrait mode as well. There is also a 5MP front selfie shooter. The Xiaomi Mi A1 is backed by a 3080mAh battery and offers 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, hybrid SIM card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, Global Positioning System and Bluetooth.
