Xiaomi to Hit the Peak, Holding 5th Position in Smartphone Manufacturing

The three-year-old Chinese company Xiaomi has become the largest company on the earth for mobile manufacturing. Now it has indexed as number fifth in the list of world's top smartphone makers.

Globally, for the smartphone market Xiaomi's share has grown to 5.1 percent in second quarter, which has increased by 1.8 percent from the last year. The Beijing-based company shipped 15.1 million devices in the second quarter of the year which is more than the shipment of last year. Woody Oh, Director at Strategy Analytics said “Xiaomi’s Android smartphone models are wildly popular in the Chinese market and it shifts millions of them every quarter through its extensive online and operator channels.” He also said "Xiaomi's next step is to target the international market in Asia and Europe, where it will have to invest big money to familiarise Western consumers with its unfamiliar brand name.”

The Company has started offering the smartphones powered by Android at the lower price which gives straight competition to other smartphone company's share in the market. Now, Xiaomi is entering in Southeast Asia, such as Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. The next plan of the organization is to enter in market of Asia and Europe internationally. After getting success in the market of China, Xiaomi is being praised by the people of India. The company came in Indian market on July 15 and has sold it's 20,000 unit of Mi3 via online store, FlipKart.

The most popular smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is the Apple of China. Two weeks earlier, it has revealed it's Mi4 series and the designing of this device resembles to Apple's iPhone. The market shares of Samsung and Apple are getting down, however the shares of Huawei, Lenevo and Xiaomi are getting more profit.
